I had an elaborate idea how her species would fend off trespassers involving the use of stones stored in a crop, how they stuck with that long after they no longer needed to ingest stones for grinding food, and a hole in the palate.

But I’m still fairly new to spec bio and far behind in studies (thank chronic fatigue for that) compared with everyone else, and it’s grossly dishonest to pretend to know the viability of this alternative.
